Here in A Casa Vella, we mainly focus on artistic residencies, where we provide artists with the time and space to develop their own research and creation.

We like to connect these instances of artistic exploration with bringing activities out to the community, as well as creating an archive of audiovisual material. This includes footage of each project and artist, what we call “Dancing capsules”, and also some visits to the physical, historical, tangible heritage in our own backyard.

How it works: We combine our Open Call, in which we receive proposals from artists throughout the year, with specific programs that call for national and international artists whose work focuses on the body, dance and/or territory.
